I am thankful for the food that goes in Livvy's belly. Appreciating the fact that we're able to put food on the table. But even more thankful that Olivia has always been a great eater. I realized through some of her Fontan recovery and subsequent heart failure this year that there's just about nothing more frustrating as a parent when your child either can't eat or refuses to do so because they feel so terrible. You know they need the nourishment and there's nothing you can do short of a medical procedure to get a g-tube placed.
So I'm thankful for Miss Liv's appetite even when she thinks everyone's her personal short order cook.
